When I was growing up, my family’s restaurant—Victor's Delicatessen in Huntington, West Virginia was a huge part of my life.
From a young age, I was behind the counter, watching my family work incredibly hard to build something they were proud of. I also saw how fragile small businesses can be. When Victor’s closed while I was still a teenager, it wasn’t just a business that shut down—it was our family’s livelihood.
That experience stayed with me.
After college, every company I worked for had one thing in common: helping restaurants grow. Restaurant.com. Clipper. Toast. Compeat. Different tools, same mission—supporting operators so families didn’t have to go through what mine did.
Eventually, I realized something was missing in the promotional products world.
Too many companies were just selling stuff.
Very few were actually thinking about how merchandise impacts operations, culture, and growth.
That’s why I started Expand Your Brand.
We don’t sell swag. We help hospitality brands use intentional branded merchandise to stand out, retain staff, and compete against much larger players.
